92.02 RATES FOR WATER

Water service shall be furnished at the following monthly rates within the City:

  1. For the first 1,000 gallons or fraction thereof – $18.85 within the City limits and $28.26 for service outside the City limits – minimum monthly charge.
  2. For each additional 1,000 gallons or fraction thereof – $7.61 per 1,000 gallons within the City limits and $10.67 per 1,000 gallons for service outside the City limits.
  3. Seasonal water meters shall be billed monthly from May to October using the above schedule. Seasonal water meters are intended for measuring water used from outside faucets and for outside watering.
  4. Metered hydrant water sales shall be billed at the following rates:
  5. For the first 1,000 gallons or fraction thereof – $28.26.
  6. For each additional 1,000 gallons or fraction thereof – $10.67 per 1,000 gallons.

92.03 RATES OUTSIDE THE CITY.

Water service shall be provided to any customer located outside the corporate limits of the City which the City has agreed to serve at the rates specified in Section 92.02. No such customer, however, will be served unless the customer shall have signed a service contract agreeing to be bound by the ordinances, rules, and regulations applying to water service established by the Council.

RATES FOR SEWER
Section 99.02, subsections 1, 2, and 3 of the City Code are hereby amended to read as follows:

  1. For the first 1,000 gallons or fraction thereof – $13.50 within the City limits and $19.50 for service outside the City limits – minimum monthly charge Sewer charges shall be calculated based on the water usage recorded on the customer’s water meter for the corresponding billing period. The billing shall appear as a separate line item on the utility statement.
  2. For each additional 1,000 gallons or fraction thereof – $5.50 per 1,000 gallons within the City limits and $7.50 per 1,000 gallons for service outside the City limits.
