The Missouri Valley City Council meets regularly on the first and third Tuesday of each month to conduct official City business.

All meetings of the City Council are open to the public in accordance with Iowa Code Chapter 21 (Open Meetings Law), except for any portion of a meeting that may be lawfully closed in session as permitted by law.

Agendas are posted in advance as required by Iowa law and will identify the meeting time, location, and items to be considered. Meeting dates, times, or locations may be adjusted due to holidays or special circumstances as allowed by law.
